A police bus collided with a trolley parked on Pathankot Highway in Hoshiarpur, Punjab. In this, 3 employees including a female employee traveling in the bus died, while around 30 employees traveling in the bus were injured.
The accident happened around 6:30 AM on Wednesday. According to the information, the employees were going to Gurdaspur from Punjab Armed Police (PAP) Complex located in Jalandhar. Due to dense fog near Mukerian, the police bus rammed into a trolley parked on the highway.
After receiving information about the accident, the area police reached the spot and started investigation. The injured employees have been admitted to the hospital. According to reports, more than 30 police personnel were traveling in the bus.
A person serving at a religious place located near the site of the incident said that after the accident, the employees traveling in the bus came to him and told him about the incident. Following this, the local people arrived to offer help.
