Due to a recent capture of a young man in a case and subsequent transport to the station, a police home guard Jawan in Jalandhar's Bhogpur neighborhood today demonstrated against his own administration and blocked the Pathankot highway.
The reason behind the action of the home guard Jawan was that he had caught a young man in a case few days before but when today he questioned the authorities about that young man, the authorities failed to provide a clear response, which prompted the Jawan to demonstrate and block the Pathankot Highway.
According to Sukhjit Singh, in-charge of police station Bhogpur, a young man was brought to the police station a few days ago by the aforementioned Home Guard Jawan in connection with a fight. However, in the case, the said young man posted bail in court and was later released some time later after receiving the bail.
