Congress on Sunday took on Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the resolution on Kashmir in the OIC where the Minister of External Affairs was invited as a 'Guest of Honour' and the OIC expressed their concern over the Kashmir issue. The AICC has asked Prime Minister to answer the Nation over the 'diplomatic faux' in which such accusations were hurled at India.

AICC's Surjewala wrote in a social media post about the same.

''Modi Govt's 'Diplomatic Victory' turns out to be 'Diplomatic Faux Pas'! Did PM send our EAM to OIC Meeting for such unacceptable & blasphemous accusations to be hurled at India? PM must answer to the Nation'' wrote Surjewala.

Reportedly, Pakistan moved a resolution over the Kashmir issue and underlined the alleged human rights violations happening in the region.

India responded to the resolution strongly and said that the matter is completely internal to India.
