I am working with honesty; focussing on whatever defence forces need: PM

New Delhi, Jan 1 (UNI) Dismissing the Congress' charges of irregularities in the deal for rafale fighter jets, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday said that he was working with honesty and focussing on whatever defence forces need.

In a series of tweets, in which he posted excerpts of an interview given by him, the PM said the Supreme Court had given their views and the French President had also spoken.

''On Rafale I have spoken in Parliament and in various public meetings. The Indian Supreme Court has given their views and the French President has also spoken,''the PM said.

On the Congress charges of irregularities in the deal, the PM said,''for them (opposition), my crime is I am working on make in India for being self sufficient in defence.
My crime is that I am focussing on whatever defence forces need. I do not care about their abuses, I will do my work and strengthen the armed forces. I am working with honesty.''

The Congress has been constantly attacking the PM and the NDA Government for alleged irregularities in the Rafale deal.
