Moga, Jan 6: Even after the appeal of Punjab CM Captain Amarinder Singh not to hold any politicial conferences during the Maghi Mela to maintain the sanctity of the Maghi mela, Sukhbir Badal has made announcement of organising the same.
The SAD chief Sukhbir Singh Badal, on Saturday, said SAD and BJP were to hold the conference on January 14 during his visit to Shri Mukatsar Sahib. Addressing the party workers ,Sukhbir Singh Badal made this announcement saying that the next Lok Sabha elections would be their test.
"In the recently held Panchayat elections, the congress tried all tactics to win, but the next Lok Sabha election will be fair. Only two months left for the elections and if we defeat them they will realise that their rule has come to end in the state too.", he stated.
"The people of Punjab know what the PM has accomplished and even thanked him for the same at Gurdaspur. They are, however, waiting for you (Amarinder Singh) to give his report card," Sukhbir Singh said.
