Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut is back in the war of words with Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh. It’s been almost two years since both of them targeted each other in various Instagram posts, Tweets, etc. Post this, Kangana Ranaut was banned from Twitter for almost a year but now she is back with a bang. Kangana Ranaut recently took a brutal dig at Diljit Dosanjh over a meme going viral ‘Pols aa gayi pols.’ This meme has gone viral after a crackdown on Amritpal Singh started by Punjab police.
Giving an insight into the matter, Swiggy the famous food app recently Tweeted a meme by using the trend ‘Pols aa gyi Pols.’ Basically, the original tweet shared by Swiggy has pictures of pulses with a caption ‘pulse aa gayi’, a play at Punjabi twang ‘Pols aa gyi pols.’ Reacting to this, Kangana Ranaut retweeted the same and tagged Diljit Dosanjh. In the end, she added the hashtag ‘Just Saying.’
Post this, she took a screenshot of the Tweet tagging Diljit Dosanjh and posted the same on Instagram story. Adding to this Twwet, she wrote “@diljitdosanjh ji pols aa gayi pols.” Not only this, she also wrote Khalistan on her story and put a sign of red cross on the same. She then posted another story stating that police have already come for the people who support Khalistani. She further added that this is no more the time where people can do anything they want. In the end, Kangana said that whosoever will try to betray the nation or divide it will not be spared. Kangana Ranaut’s alleged story against Diljit Dosanjh read, “All those who supported Khalistanis remember next number tumhara hai, pols aa chuki hai, yeh woh waqt nahi hai jab koi bhi kuch bhi karta tha, desh ke saath gaddari ya tukde karne ki koshish aab mehengi padegi.”
Although, she did not tag Diljit Dosnajh in the second story but somewhere it was clear from her actions that she is straightaway directing it to Diljit Dosanjh. Diljit Dosanjh has till now not reacted to the same. Many have interpreted Kangana Ranaut’s jibe at Diljit Dosanjh was a reference to the recent crackdown on Khalistani sympathiser Amritpal Singh.
For the unversed, her Twitter war with Diljit Dosanjh began almost two years back during farmers’ protest. It was then that she released a similar statement against Diljit Dosanjh who supported farmers during the protest going on.
