Prakash Raj on Monday took to his X handle and mocked India's latest lunar program days ahead of the Chandrayaan 3 landing. Notably, Prakash Raj's tweet on Chandrayaan 3 did not go well on social media and many lashed out at the actor for being an 'anti-nationalist'. A user wrote, "Prakash ji, this Chandryan mission is from ISRO not BJP. If it gets succeed, it’s for India not for any party. Why you want this mission to fail? BJP is just a ruling party. It will go one day. But, ISRO will remain for years and will make us proud. In search of truth, you’re forgetting basic nationalism. India’s failure shouldn’t be a victory. Keep ISRO aside from this political hate."

Another user wrote, "Chandrayaan 3 is something whole of India must be proud of, irrespective of political ideology. Know the boundary between political vs national trolling, else stick to wetting your pants in movies."

ISRO is bidding to make a successful soft landing on the moon, which will make India the fourth country in the world to achieve the feat after the United States, Russia, and China. The Chandrayaan-3 mission's lander is named after Vikram Sarabhai (1919–1971), who is widely regarded as the father of the Indian space programme.
