In preparation for the upcoming Panchayat and Lok Sabha elections in Punjab, and in line with the responsibilities assigned to Rajinder Singh by the Congress High Command for the Kartarpur Constituency, efforts were made to strengthen ties with the local community and address concerns related to the impending elections.

A meeting was convened with key figures including Mr. Amarjit Singh Kang, the block president, Mr. Balwant Singh Kurala, Youth Congress leader Daman Karala, and former Sarpanch of Butran village, Pritam Singh. Additionally, Mr. Dalbir Singh Buttar, Sarabjit Singh Buttar, Amarinder Singh Mahinda Butar, Jaswinder Singh (a retired army personnel), and other Congress leaders participated in the meeting.

Following this, another meeting was organized at the residence of Sarpanch Pooja in Maridpur village, with the participation of Sandeep Singh, Surinder Singh Chhinda, Gurmej Singh Panch, Gurpal Singh, and Madan Lal Bulowal.

Subsequently, a meeting was conducted at the residence of Nambardar Manjit Singh in Akhara village, involving discussions with Sarpanch Makhan Lal and Mr. Jaswant Singh Nambardar.

Further outreach included a meeting at the residence of Sardar Satbir Singh in Pacharanga village, where discussions were held with senior leaders such as Mr. Rajinder Kumar Maluka, Sheetal Singh (NRI), and Madan.

During these meetings with Congress leaders and workers from various villages, their grievances were attentively listened to. It was emphasized that Congress policies should be communicated effectively at the community, village, and local levels.
