An elated Priyanka Chopra took to social media and shared a sneak-peek from her upcoming film The Sky Is Pink, which stars Farhan Akhtar and Zaira Wasim in the lead roles. The film is all set to premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF)and is one of the most-anticipated films of 2019.

Priyanka shared the poster and captioned her post, "In this family, crazy doesn’t skip a generation! We bring to you #TheSkyIsPink trailer Tomorrow at 10 AM!" The film aso features Rohit Saraf in a lead role.

Directed by Shonali Bose, The Sky Is Pink will hit the screens on October 11.

Just the other day, Priyanka shared a photo with Farhan Akhtar from the film. She captioned it, "Made with love and so much more!" The two had worked together in Zoya Akhtar's Dil Dhadakne Do, which hit the screens in 2015.

The Sky Is Pink, is based on the story of motivational speaker Aisha Chaudhary, who was diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis. In the last few months of her life, Aisha began to pen down her thoughts and wrote close to 5,000 words for the book titled My Little Epiphanies. The book also contained her doodles.

Unfortunately, she breathed her last on January 24, 2015, hours after her book was launched at the Jaipur Literature Festival.

While Zaira is expected to play the role of Aisha, Priyanka will play the role of her mother.
