Indian embassy in Rome has allegedly been razed byKhalistani supporters as per a report in India Today website. India has takenstrong cognizance of the incident that took place prior to Republic day.
As per reports, Khalistani supporters scribbled"Khalistan Zindabad" on the walls of the embassy and fixed severalflowers that allegedly linked to secessionists.
The video of the incident surfaced on social networkingsites. As per sources the Indian authorities have raised concerns regarding thevandalism.
"We have taken up this specific incident with themand conveyed our concerns. Safety and security of Indian diplomats anddiplomatic premises is the responsibility of the host government," saidsources quoted by India Today.
