In a tragic development, a Property dealer named Ritesh Kohli died after falling from the fifth floor of Jalandhar Heights. To be precise, the Property dealer was living in Block M of Jalandhar Heights. Jalandhar Heights is a posh residential society present in Jalandhar, Punjab. While Ritesh Kohli's cause of death is yet to be ascertained, the Police are reportedly suspecting it was a suicide.
Currently, the police have sent the body of the deceased for postmortem. The postmortem report will clarify whether the deceased was drunk at the time of the incident or not. Police are investigating all the facts.
Reports suggest that the Kohli family had shifted to Jalandhar Heights just 15 days ago. Before this, they used to live in a house located near Shivaji Park, Jalandhar. The Police have reportedly recorded Ritesh's wife Suruchi's statement. Ritesh was the father of two children. As per the statement recorded, Ritesh Kohli fell from the fifth floor around 4:30 am in the morning.
As per the Police, Ritesh used to work as a property dealer and was also in the tent house business. Ritesh's wife Suruchi was at home at the time of the incident. As per reports, the Police in its initial investigation have found out that Ritesh was in depression for a long time. However, there is no clarity yet whether he died by suicide or it was an accidental death. Furthermore, the police have not found any suicide note from the crime scene. If any party objects to the case, the police will register a case.
