In a sigh of relief to the protesting farmers, the government has now decided to allow the farmers to cross the Singhu border so they can reach the national capital. 

Farmers have been marching towards Delhi to stage protests there over the contentiously passed farm laws. 

Going by the media reports, the farmers' organizations have been told to stage protest at Burari ground instead of Ramlila ground. 

However, the news might take a little longer to reach the ears of the humongous crowd.

Earlier in the day, the Delhi Police had to resort to the use of water cannons and tear gas shells to disperse a menacing march of protesting farmers at the Tikri border near the Delhi-Bahadurgarh highway. The farmers clashed with security forces to breach the national capital borders as they protested against the new Farm laws.
