Tensions have escalated over Punjabi singer Gurman Maan's song, leading to a protest by youth at Jagraon bridge in Ludhiana. Manish, a member of Shri Hindu Takht, declared that he would take drastic measures if the police failed to file an FIR against the singer.

The protest, which took place near the statues of martyrs at Jagraon bridge, saw demonstrators voicing their discontent with Punjab Police and Gurman Maan. Rishabh Kanojia, deputy campaigner of Shri Hindu Takht, expressed frustration over the lack of police action despite ongoing protests by the Hindu community for the past 10 days.

Kanojia accused Gurman Maan of exploiting the name of Shani Dev for personal gain, claiming that the singer had offended the religious sentiments of the Hindu society. He announced plans for a march from Jagraon bridge to the police commissioner's office, emphasizing that further action would be taken if the police did not file an FIR against the singer.

In response, ACP Sukhnaz Singh stated that the protestors were demonstrating peacefully and assured that appropriate action would be taken after reviewing their complaint. He warned that any attempt to break the law would result in consequences.
