In a major development, the Punjab Government on Monday announced a public holiday on April 7, 2025, i.e. on Tuesday. As per the official announcement, all schools, colleges, educational institutions, and government offices in Punjab will remain closed on Tuesday. The day has also been added to the list of official public holidays for the year 2025. As per the notification, the Punjab government has declared a public holiday on April 8, to mark the birth anniversary of Sri Guru Nabha Das Ji.
