Punjab’s AAP government is going to present its first budget in the Vidhan Sabha, Finance Minister will open the government’s box in the assembly

The first budget will be presented by Punjab's Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government. Finance Minister Harpal Cheema will open the government's box after 10 o'clock during the assembly session. This budget does not include any additional taxes. The situation has previously been made clear in this regard by the finance minister.

In addition, every home will receive 300 free electricity units, and every woman over the age of 18 would receive a monthly stipend of 1,000 rupees. Opponents are monitoring it as well, whether the government includes a provision for it in the budget or not.

The government of CM Bhagwant Mann will present a paperless budget. The CM personally made the announcement. According to the government, Punjab's state exchequer will save Rs 21 lakh as a result. 34 tons of paper will also be saved at the same time. 834 trees will be saved as a result.

It has been 2.5 months since Punjab's CM Bhagwant Mann started his government. The interim budget had been sanctioned by the cabinet in order to conduct government operations. This three-month interim budget was for Rs. 37,120 crore.
