In a unique initiative aimed at ensuring the comfort of voters and in an effort to provide relief from the prevailing heat wave, Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), Punjab Mr Sibin C has made special arrangements through the Punjab State Cooperative Supply and Marketing Federation Ltd (MARKFED) for the distribution of Gulab Sherbet at all 24,451 Polling Stations across Punjab for voting tomorrow, June 1.
This initiative aims to provide a refreshing beverage to electors, helping them beat the heat while exercising their democratic right.
This endeavour is a collaborative effort of the Chief Electoral Officer, Punjab and MARKFED, highlighting the State’s commitment to making the voting process as smooth and comfortable as possible for its citizens. By offering Gulab Sherbet, a locally produced beverage, MARKFED is also promoting the rich tradition of 'Make in Punjab' products through the cooperative movement.

The distribution of Gulab Sherbet will take place in all districts and polling stations throughout the state, showcasing the strengths of Punjab's cooperative movement. MARKFED's participation underscores its dedication to supporting local products and empowering local communities.
