Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann slams opposition, says "I have sent ministers to Delhi for training"

Today, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann held a press conference after addressing the general public in Jalandhar on the occasion of Baisakhi and Baba Sahib's birth anniversary.

In the press conference, he spoke about the life of Baba Sahib, Baba Sahib's creation of India and his contribution to the Indian Constitution. Bhagwant Mann said that Baba Sahib has given importance to education in drafting the constitution and it has been stated that education should be given to every person.

Everyone should have the opportunity to education. Education cannot be stolen from anyone. He said that education and health were also given priority in Delhi and now education would be given priority in Punjab also. For this, he announced to build a university in the name of Dr. BR Ambedkar in Punjab and a sports university in Jalandhar.

Apart from this, on being asked by reporters if the luxury vehicles would be provided to the ministers, he said that no such order has been issued by us and the rest who already have government luxury vehicles will also be withdrawn.


Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on the interference of AAP convener Arvind Kejriwal in the state government, said that he had sent his ministers to Delhi, adding that if the ministers could go to Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, or other states, for training and other purposes, they could also go to Delhi. He will continue to send his ministers to Delhi for the betterment of Punjab.
