Punjab CM Channi’s Nephew Honey admitted to Amritsar hospital, complains of chest pain

Chief Minister Channi’s nephew is admitted to the hospital after complaining of chest pain in jail, brought to the ER of Guru Nanak hospital

Bhupinder Honey, nephew of Punjab’s CM has been admitted to the hospital in Amritsar. Honey was lodged in Kapurthala jail. He is in the judicial custody of police for a money laundering case till March 10. 

 
Bhupinder was complaining of high blood pressure and chest pain for the past few days. He was taken to the Kapurthala Civil Hospital on Sunday. But after seeing his deteriorated health he was taken to the Amritsar’s Guru Nanak Hospital via police van.

 
All of his tests have been done by the doctors. It is estimated that after the investigation he may be admitted to the cardio ward of the Guru Nanak Dev Hospital. 

 
He was admitted to the emergency of the Guru Nanak Hospital, Amritsar few days after his checkup at the Kapurthala Civil Hospital.

 
 
Bhupinder’s name gained a highlight before the assembly elections in Punjab. ED conducted the raid for 2 days at 18 different locations, recovering incriminating documents from his residence. 

 
Bhupinder Honey was arrested by the police in a money laundering and illegal sand mining case. In the raid by ED, they found cash, watches and property papers from honey’s house. He was sent to judicial remand last month. He is in judicial custody till March 10.
