Punjab CM, Bhagwant Mann has shared the news with all the youth who are waiting for several job opportunities. This information was shared through the Twitter handle of CM Mann. It was also told that a three-day exam course will be followed in which tests would be conducted on different dates for various vacant positions in the police department.

Reportedly, the examination for the recruitment will be conducted on October 14th, 2022 for the 1156 vacant posts of constable in the Investigation and Intelligence Cadre. Furthermore, the examination for the candidates who want to apply for the post of head constable in the Investigation Cadre will be conducted on 15th October 2022. The examination that will be conducted on 16th October 2022 is for the post of 560 vacant positions of Sub Inspector in Investigation/Intelligence/District and Armed Police Cadre.

Punjab CM shared this through his Twitter handle. His tweet read that recruitment is about to start for the Police department. It added that already 4374 constables have received the appointment letter. The main announcement that should not be missed is that the selection for the vacant post will be done based on merit and no bribe or recommendation will be accepted.

It comes as a very startling fact that where on one side teachers of schools and universities are protesting against the government for not providing them with jobs, the government on the other hand announces recruitment for the other department. The protesting teachers have alleged that before winning the elections, AAP promised to provide them job opportunities but has failed to do so from the time they won elections in the state.
