Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann's proposed visit to Delhi on Monday has been cancelled. However, no reason has been given by the government for this.

It is expected that after three days the Chief Minister will leave for Delhi.

It was earlier decided that CM Bhagwant Mann and his ministers will visit Delhi's schools and mohalla clinics along with Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal.

AAP's national convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had confirmed Mann's visit, but it has now been cancelled.

The only reason could be why he is not coming to Delhi on the given Date might be because of the Jahangirpuri riots that took place yesterday on Hanuman Jayanti. However, nothing is clear in that.

The visit, which came after the uproar over Punjab's electricity employees' meeting with Kejriwal, was aimed at improving schools in Punjab on the lines of Delhi.

Kejriwal said that his government has improved government schools to such an extent that people from all over the country are coming to see these amazing changes.

He said that Melania Trump, wife of former US President Donald Trump, had come to visit a government school in Delhi. He said that it is a proud moment for us.

Kejriwal said that recently Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin had visited government schools in Delhi. The AAP convener said that Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann along with many of his officers would visit our government schools.

He is coming to see how such reforms are done because he has to do the same in Punjab. He also said that his government has improved its schools to such an extent that 3.75 lakh students from private schools have moved to government schools.

Kejriwal claimed that in the last five years, we have improved the quality of government schools so much that now the children of a judge, an IAS officer and a rickshaw puller are sitting on the same bench.
