Punjab CM promotes ASI Harjit Singh for displaying exemplary courage during Patiala Sabzi Mandi attack, becomes Sub-Inspector

Harjit Singh was referred to PGIMER, Chandigarh by DGP Dinkar Gupta, where he underwent a 7.5 hours long plastic surgery to get his hand back.

Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh over a call ensured him full government support and expressed happiness on his act of bravery.

And now, Punjab CM after viewing the ASI's exemplary courage during the attack has promoted him on the post of Sub-Inspector.
