Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra reached Punjab a few days back. On Thursday, the yatra reached Ludhiana where an incident took place which has gone viral on various social media platforms. Reportedly, Punjab Congress President Amarinder Singh Raja Warring was pushed by one of Rahul Gandhi’s security personnel which then turned into a heated argument.

The video that has been going viral clearly shows Amarinder Singh Raja Warring walking with Rahul Gandhi during the yatra. After some time, Raja Warring holds a person walking in front of them and brings him closer to Rahul Gandhi to make them meet each other. Seeing this the security person walking along with Rahul Gandhi comes in front of him and pushes the worker. During this, he also pushed Raja Warring who then got very upset over this behavior. Rahul Gandhi despite seeing all this did not pay any heed to the whole scene and kept on walking.

Punjab is being extra-cautious during Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra as the leader has received various threats from gangsters. Reportedly, only some of the leaders are allowed to walk with Rahul Gandhi due to security reasons. Apart from Raja Warring, the leader of the opposition party Pratap Singh Bajwa is also included in the leaders allowed to walk with Rahul Gandhi.

There is a police cordon all around the leader during his Bharat Jodo Yatra in Punjab. He has been given three-layer security here. The Punjab Congress itself had expressed concern about the security of Rahul Gandhi and has asked the present government to ensure the same.
