Delhi CM and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) supremo Arvind Kejriwal’s arrest has led to a major political turmoil across the country. AAP workers and Congress leaders have raised a major upheaval in Haryana, Chandigarh and Punjab following the arrest. On Friday, Punjab Education Minister Harjot Bains and Health Minister Dr. Balbir Singh also reached Delhi to protest.

During this time the police took both the ministers into custody. Meanwhile, Punjab CM Bhagwant has left for Delhi. He will meet Arvind Kejriwal's family saying that the entire party is standing firmly with Kejriwal.

On the other hand, AAP workers have reached Kurukshetra, Haryana to surround the residence of Chief Minister Nayab Saini.

Priyanka Gandhi responds –

Priyanka Gandhi took to the internet and media saying that Kejriwal's arrest is wrong. Congress National General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi, who reached Shimla in Himachal, called Kejriwal's arrest wrong on social media.

She wrote on X that lowering the level of politics in this manner suits neither the Prime Minister nor his government.

As per reports, there will also be a demonstration by Aam Aadmi Party leaders at the BJP office in Chandigarh. Senior party leader Prem Garg has called Kejriwal's arrest unfortunate. He says that BJP has tried to stop him from campaigning by arresting him before the elections. But every party worker is with him.
