The political conflict in Punjab over the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government's excise policy has gotten very intense. Today, Pradhan Sukhbir Badal and other Akali leaders met with Governor BL Purohit. After this meeting, Sukhbir Badal said that we met the governor and requested that LG got the liquor scam investigated in Delhi. The CBI opened the case after receiving the evidence. Just like there was a scam of crores, the same thing happened in Punjab. He claimed that the CBI and Enforcement Directorate (ED) investigations into this matter have been demanded.

Sukhbir Badal has made serious allegations against the Aam Aadmi Party's Punjab Excise Policy. He said that the Excise policy of Delhi and Punjab was made by the same team. When it was complained about in Delhi, the government canceled it.

There are 3 types of work in liquor namely manufacturer, L1 i.e. wholesaler and retailer. The L1, or wholesaler, was under the supervision of the AAP government. Earlier, L1 was in the range of 50 to 100. They used to keep the entire company's liquor with them and sell it to the retailer. The retailer had a choice. They used to buy from where they got cheaper.

The AAP government changed the conditions in this and threw out the old ones to give L1 to its people. They imposed conditions that the manufacturer and retailer cannot take L1 ie wholesaler's license. Apart from this, there should be a turnover of 30 crores in 3 consecutive years for the wholesaler. One person can take only one L1.
