Punjab elections 2022 saw a multi-cornered contest during the Assembly elections this time. Key players like Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Shiromani Akali Dal-Bahujan Samaj Party alliance, and the Bharatiya Janata Party-former chief minister Amarinder Singh's Punjab Lok Congress party were eagerly waiting for March 10 to arrive to know about the election results.

The voting of the Punjab Assembly Elections for the 117 seats in the state was held on February 20 and the results for the same will be out on March 10.

According to True Scoop’s Exit Poll, AAP may emerge as the single-largest party in Punjab. AAP won 20 seats in the Malwa area in the 2017 elections. This year there are chances that they will get at least 40-45 seats in the Punjab elections.

Talking about Congress, they are like to lose voters' share in Punjab. The reason responsible for this is the party conflicts between the leaders and no direct support to their party from MLAs. They will secure nearly 30-35 seats in Punjab.

On analyzing the situation of Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD), they are likely to secure 20-25 seats this time. Their vote share will reduce by 5-10 percent in Punjab.

Bhartiya Janta Party and its alliance will get 1-10 seats in Punjab. This will happen due to Kissan Andolan. They will hardly get nearly 10 percent vote share this time in elections and the remaining 2 seats will come under others category.

However, the exact position will be known to everyone after the announcement of election results on March 10.
