As per the latest information received, four IPS officers of 2007 and 2008 batch have got promoted to the rank of Deputy Inspector General of Police with immediate effect. The list includes names of IPS Gurdial Singh (2007), IPS Mandeep Singh (2008), IPS Narinder Bhargav (2008) and IPS Ranjit Singh (2008).
