In a major reshuffle, the Punjab Government on Saturday transferred 8 IPS officers of the state. As per the Punjab Government's official notification, IPS officer Satinder Singh has been appointed as the new Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Ludhiana Range, replacing Jagadale Nilambari Vijay, who has been transferred to Counter-Intelligence, SAS Nagar.
Satinder Singh is an IPS officer who previously served as DIG Border Range, Amritsar. Known for his field experience and operational leadership, Singh’s appointment comes as part of a wider administrative reshuffle ordered by the Department of Home Affairs. Before Amritsar Range, IPS officer Satinder Singh served as SSP Amritsar (Rural).
