The Punjab government on Saturday has ordered the transfers and postings of 2 IPS officers and 5 PPS officers across the state.
According to the transfer orders, IPS Jaspreet Singh Sidhu, SSP Kapurthala has been transferred as AIG CI Patiala.
IPS Gurmit Chauhan, AIG Organised Crime Control Unit (OCCU) Punjab Chandigarh has been posted as AIG Organised Organised Crime Control Unit (OCCU) Punjab Chandigarh and in addition, Commandant 82nd Bn. PAP Chandigarh.
IPS Kanwardeep Kaur, Joint CP (Rural) Ludhiana has been transferred as SSP Kapurthala.
PPS Sandeep Goel, SSP Barnala has been posted as SSP Barnala (Additional charge AIG FIU, Ludhiana).

Harpreet Singh, PPS (DR) who served as AIG Crime and PBI Punjab is now posted as AIG (Special Branch-III) Intelligence, Punjab.
Balwinder Singh, PPS TP/62, Commandant 4th Commando Bn. SAS Nagar has been transferred as Commandant 4th Commando Bn. SAS Nagar (Additional Charge of AIG Armament, Punjab).
Varinderjit Singh Thind, PPS (DR), SP (Detective) Ludhiana (Rural) has been posted as Assistant Commandant, 4th IRB, Shapur Kandi, Pathankot.
