Jalandhar (Hockey) - Hockey India is organizing 9th Hockey India Senior National 'Men's Hockey Championship' from January 31 to February 10, 2019 at Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. The Punjab Hockey team selection trials for this will be held on January 9 at 9 am P.A.P. Astroturf in the Hockey ground.
While giving this information, Hockey Punjab President Nitin Kohli and General Secretary Pargat Singh said that last year Punjab Hockey Hockey team had won the gold medal in the 8th Hockey India Senior National Hockey Championship. Keeping in mind the huge achievement, this time, Punjab Hockey team will be selected. He said that all the players related to Punjab will be able to participate in these trials. Coaching camps of selected players will also be held at Jalandhar.
