In a bizarre development, a Punjab IAS officer's husband was caught red-handed with another woman during a late-night raid in a house in Ludhiana. As per reports, the IAS officer's husband was reportedly found in an objectionable state when the Police raided a house in front of Gate No. 2 of Punjab Agricultural University in Ludhiana at 11:30 pm. After finding them in an objectionable state, the Police took them into custody. During the questioning, it was revealed that the man was the husband of an IAS officer from Punjab.
The IAS officer's husband was arrested under Sections 3, 4, and 5 of the Immoral Traffic Act. Reports suggest that he is a resident of village Bhagsar (Muktsar Sahib), while the woman is a resident of Sector 32, Ludhiana. As of now, the Ludhiana Police has not divulged much information about the case.
However, a media report quoted a source who informed that the Police got a complaint regarding the visit of many foreign girls in the house daily. People visiting there were given rooms on fake ID cards. Around 11:30 pm, the Police were informed that a man had gone to the house with a foreign girl. After which the police team of Police Station Division No. 5 raided there. After the man was detained, the Police reportedly contacted the IAS officer. Listening to her husband's act, the IAS officer asked the cops to file the complaint and let the law take its course.
