In a heart-breaking development, a 4-year-old girl named Naira choked to death after food got stuck in her throat. Naira was the daughter of a Punjab-based IPS couple. Naira's mother was Ravjot Grewal, while her father was Navneet Bains. Ravjot Grewal is the SSP of Fatehgarh Sahib, while Navneet Bains is the SSP of Ludhiana Rural Police. As per reports, Naira was not able to breathe after some food items got stuck in her throat. She was rushed to a private hospital where the doctors declared her dead. It is not known what Naira was eating.
The SSP couple couple lives in Mohali. The last rites of Naira will be performed at the cremation ground of Industrial Area Phase-7 of Mohali. Reports suggest that Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav and other senior officials of Punjab will participate in it. Furthermore, it is reported that DGP Gaurav Yadav called the IPS couple and expressed his condolences.
