All the cases of increasing crime rates had and have been affecting the government. After the murder of slain singer Sidhu Moosewala, AAP had to face defeat in the elections held at Sangrur. Due to this issue, even the former DGP V.K Bhawra and Former Intelligence Head Parbod Kumar were transferred from their respective positions.
When ADGP law and order was contacted by TrueScoop, he refused to comment on this issue.
Along with Law and Order, the biggest challenge that is being faced by the police in Punjab is narco-terrorism. It has been 20 days since when 10 modules have been busted and more than 20 terrorists have been arrested for the same.
