An incident of drug overdose has led to the death of a man in the Barnala district of Punjab. The police have registered a case against two people for giving an overdose of drugs to the victim, who eventually died. The incident happened on May 3, and the police have already made one arrest in this case.

According to the police, the victim, identified as Gulzara Singh, was taken away on a bike by one of the accused, Narata Ram, on May 3. The victim did not return home after that, and his wife Kuldeep Kaur started looking for him. She claimed that the accused used to get her husband intoxicated with drugs, and Narata Ram took drugs from the other accused, Kala Singh, to dose her husband.

The victim's dead body was found near Pakho Kala's Rajwada two days later, and it was discovered that he had died of a drug overdose. The police have registered a case against both the accused, Narata Ram and Kala Singh. The former has been arrested, while the latter is still absconding.

The police have urged people to come forward and report any such incidents to the authorities, and have assured that strict action will be taken against those involved in drug peddling and abuse. The case is currently under investigation, and further details are awaited.
