In what is termed a miracle, an 80-year-old man named Darshan Singh who was declared dead by doctors in a hospital in Patiala, Punjab came back to life. Yes! you heard it right. Darshan Singh Brar was declared dead in a Patiala hospital by doctors and therefore, his body was coming to his native village in Haryana. Darshan Singh Brar was brought to his village in Karnal when the ambulance in which he was kept hit a pothole and suddenly he started breathing. The ambulance reportedly hit the pothole in Dhand in Kaithal.

A relative of Darshan Singh talking to a newswire was quoted saying, "Yesterday all preparation of langar was made at home. We had bought wood, clothes, and everything for the last rites ceremony. Suddenly a call from doctors at Nissing Hospital came who informed us that Darshan Singh is fine. It was a miracle from god. Everyone started congratulating me. Doctors in Patiala had declared him dead. They told us to take his body as there was no hope left. My elder brother had called me and told me to start the last rites preparation and he is bringing the body to the village. Now, he is breathing. Doctors here are saying that he can be saved."

A doctor at NP Rawal Hospital in Karnal was quoted saying, "We don't have any documented evidence that he was dead. When he was brought to us, there was a pulse, and BP and he was a little conscious. We don't know whether he was dead before coming here or not. He is still critical."

Talking about reports that Brar came back to life due to the pothole, it is reported that the jolt was so strong that Brar’s grandson and a few of his family members sitting inside the ambulance noticed him moving his hand and immediately asked the driver to head towards the nearest hospital. Brar came to life after the jolt, claimed his family members.
