Punjab Police make 'long list' of Gangsters settled abroad, Goldy Brar & others to be extradited: Report

To maintain law and order, and demolish the crime syndicate, Punjab Police have reportedly made a list that contains names of Gangsters who have settled abroad.

Punjab Police is all set to take big action in the crackdown against gangsters who have settled abroad. The state has witnessed multiple clashes and murders carried out on the direction of gangsters who have fled India and are settled abroad. To maintain law and order, and demolish the crime syndicate, Punjab Police have reportedly made a list that contains names of Gangsters who have settled abroad and carried out crimes in Punjab from there. Among the gangsters, Lawrence Bishnoi associate and Sidhu Moose Wala's murder mastermind Goldy Brar is on top of the list. 

 

As per reports, a meeting was held on Thursday in which Special DGP Law & Order Aprit Shukla informed that a list of gangsters has been made who have carried out crimes in Punjab but are settled in Abroad. Shukla reportedly informed that actions are being taken to extradite the gangsters whose names are in the list, so that they can face the Indian law. Not only this, a red corner notice has been issued against gangsters, but also the process of extradition has been started as well. 

 

Furthermore, the Punjab Police are in contact with Center's Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) and Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) to speed up the extradition process. 

 

Talking about Gangster Goldy Brar, he is facing charges like murder, criminal conspiracy and supply of illegal firearms. Already a Red Corner notice, which allows the arrest of a fugitive, has been issued against him. He allegedly claimed responsibility for the murder of Sidhu Moosewala in Mansa district on May 29.
