Punjab ready to welcome Shri Ram; around 2000 screens to show the Pran-Pratishtha event at THESE places

Pran-Pratishtha program will be played live on around 1000 screens and LEDs; Temples will be decorated with millions of lamps

There is a wave of enthusiasm in Punjab regarding the consecration of Lord Ramlala to be held in Ayodhya today on 22nd January as well. Religious events are being organised at various places in the cities of Punjab. The buildings and houses of the city are illuminated with attractive lights. Today, thousands of screens will be lit up all over Punjab showing the event, where devotees will be able to watch the entire program of Pran-Pratishtha live. As night falls, lamps will be lit and fireworks will be set off in temples and homes across Punjab.

 

1 lakh 21 thousand lamps will be lit in Shri Devi Talab Mandir of Jalandhar. Apart from this, many big temples and market committees have made arrangements for langar.

 

Recently, processions and padyatras were held all over Punjab to welcome Shri Ram Lala. Religious programs have been organized since this morning. Even though the government has not declared any holiday in Punjab today, some private schools did announce a holiday. Major Punjab politicians and social services organisations have organised events. 

 

Here's what will happen in Punjab:

 

Apart from other big temples including Valmiki Tirtha, Durgana Temple and Shivala Bagh Bhaiyaan in Amritsar, market committees are installing huge screens. The program to be held in Ayodhya will be telecast live on these. There will be arrangements for langar everywhere. There will be lamp garlands at Durgana Temple and Shivala Bagh Bhaiyaan at night. Many social organizations are also going to do fireworks in the evening.

 

The Pran-Pratishtha program will be shown live by installing LCD in more than 500 temples of Ludhiana. Deepmala will be performed in the evening at all the major temples of the city.
