Now, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) of the Chandigarh unit has made fresh weather predictions for Punjab. As per IMD Chandigarh, multiple districts of Punjab will experience thunderstorms for the next 5 days starting from today. On June 16, 2025, at least 16 districts of Punjab are likely to witness thunderstorms. If IMD's prediction turns out to be true, it will provide major relief to residents from the intense summer. As per IMD Chandigarh's daily temperature briefing, Bathinda remained the hottest district of Punjab at 42.2°C. Amritsar- 39.5°C, Ludhiana- 38.6°C, Patiala- 34.1°C, Pathankot- 39.8°C, Gurdaspur- 39°C, Fazilka- 38.2°C, Hoshiarpur- 37.5°C, etc.
