A video from Punjab’s Muktsar is doing rounds where slogans in support of Khalistan were written on the walls of an office. Reportedly, the incident took place outside SSP Upinderjit Singh Ghuman's office where the walls were defaced with various slogans. Slogans like ‘Khalistani Zindabad’, ‘Rahul Gandhi Bharat Jodo Yatra’, Indira Gandhi assassination, etc were written on the wall.
Soon after the information was received, all the slogans were removed and wall were re-painted. Police have initiated investigation for the same. Police have taken hold of CCTV footage and are scanning video to nab the people who did this act.
Soon after this, Gurpatwant Singh Pannu released a video of himself talking about various incidents in Punjab including bomb found near Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann’s office, Khalistani slogans written and also spoke about Indira Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi’s assassination.
On 20th December 2022, similar incident took place in a government college in Sri Muktsar Sahib where slogans of Khalistan Zindabad were written on the walls of the institution. It was being said that this activity was allegedly carried out by Khalistani supporters and their aim this was also to oppose Rahul Gandhi Bharat Jodo Yatra.
