Punjab University announced the entrance exam schedule for the 2025-26 academic session. The announcement was officially made on Wednesday. The students who want to be admitted for undergraduate and postgraduate courses can start their preparation. The entrance test will check the eligibility of candidates aspiring to pursue different courses at Punjab University.
Punjab University Controller of Examinations Prof. Jagat Bhushan has officially announced the schedule for entrance tests for admission to different courses in the Punjab University campus, which is PU CET for undergraduates and will commence on May 11, 2025. The test is a gateway for students seeking admission to various undergraduate programs.
For admission in different postgraduate courses at Punjab University campus, the exam will be conducted from June 17 to June 19, 2025.
Moreover, the entrance exam for the B.A/B.Com LLB(Hons.) 5-year integrated course at the PU campus and its Regional Centres is scheduled for April 27, 2025.
Similarly, the entrance exam for the BA/B.com LLB Hons. The 3-year integrated course at the Punjab University campus will take place on June 29, 2025.
For admission in PhD at the university, the exam is scheduled on September 7, 2025.
Engineering aspirants should note that the Punjab University Migration Engineering Entrance Test and Punjab University Lateral Engineering Entrance Test will be conducted on June 1, 2025.
For admission in Bachelor's of Hotel Management and Catering Technology and Bachelor's of Tourism and Travel Management, the PUTHAT exam is scheduled for April 25, 2025.
Examination Controller Prof. Jagat said that detailed information regarding the syllabus, eligibility criteria and application procedures will be shared on the official website of the Punjab University. He urged the students to check regular updates on the website.
