A proposal against the Agnipath army recruitment scheme will also be presented at the same time. A resolution against Panjab University, Chandigarh's subordination to the Center may also be introduced. Additionally, the assembly's deputy speaker will be elected.

The One MLA-One Pension Ordinance was previously passed by the CM Bhagwant Mann-led government. It was submitted to the governor after receiving cabinet approval. But Governor BL Purohit gave it back. The government was asked to send it and get it approved by the assembly. According to the government, this will save 19.53 crores every year. After the implementation of this bill, no matter how many times a leader becomes an MLA, he will get the same term pension.
