Live video of a death has surfaced from Fazilka, Punjab. In the video, a young man can be seen accidentally crushing the old man with his car. The old man unfortunately died in the accident. When his body was found, his family members suspected it to be a murder. On the complaint of the family, the police had also registered a case of murder against 6 people of the family including the ASI.
According to the initial investigation of the police, the accused youth is a resident of Mandi Roda Wali. The video was posted on Instagram on an ID named Shivam. In the video, a young man can be seen driving the car. Suddenly the elderly, identified as Kala Singh appeared in front of the car on the road in Kathgarh village. The young man driving the car got scared after seeing the old man and hit Kala Singh.
Earlier, Manjeet Kaur, daughter of elderly Kala Singh, had told the police that on the night of January 18, her father had gone out of the house to urinate. He did not return home throughout the night. On the morning of 19 December, she along with her sister and brother Varinder reached Tarewala village in search of his father. They found their father fallen down in the wheat field, by the roadside. Upon a closer look, they found out that he had died. There were injury marks on his body.
Manjeet Kaur told that the domestic dispute was going on with Santokh Singh, Lalchand, Surendra Chand, Swarn Chand, Bittu and Monica. The daughter accused these people of killing her father. After this, on the complaint of the daughter, the police had registered a case of IPC section 302 (murder) against these 6 people.
Police station in-charge Chandrashekhar said that the police was investigating on the complaint of the family. After a while they were made aware of the video and started investigation from its perspective. The video went viral on Instagram. On the basis of the video, the police have started searching for the youth in the car. The old man has been identified as Kala Singh.
