Punjab-based Kabaddi coach shot dead in Philippines, investigation underway

He moved to the Philippines along with his wife and son.

Shocking information has come to fore where a Punjab-based Kabaddi coach was shot dead by miscreants in Manila, the capital city of Philippines. Reportedly the deceased has been identified as Gurpreet Singh who was from Moga, Punjab.

As per the information, Gurpreet Singh left India and went to the Philippines in search of better employment opportunities. He used to run a business there and also train youth for Kabaddi. He moved to the Philippines along with his wife and son. Allegedly while he returned from his work, some unknown miscreants barged into the house and shot him dead. Gurpreet was shot in the head.

A few months back, a UK-based Kabaddi player Sandeep Singh was also shot dead at Mallian Khurd of Jalandhar while he was in India for a tournament. Nine accused were arrested in the case.
