Punjabi minor arrested for fatally shooting another 18-year-old Punjabi in Canada

Canadian Police has arrested a minor in the murder case of a Punjabi youth. Canadian police had been searching for the minor for almost two months. The deceased was Nishan Thind of Punjab origin, who lived in Brampton, Ontario, Canada. On December 19, he was shot by a minor from Punjab, after which he was admitted to the hospital. Nishan died during treatment.


It came to the fore that the murderer is a 16-year-old teenager. Peel Regional Police were informed by hospital authorities that someone had left Nishan dead at the hospital at 6 pm on December 19. He was shot and died during treatment.


Police investigation revealed that it was the minor who shot the deceased at an unknown place. After which he was left to the hospital.


Canadian Municipality Peel’s Regional Police said in a statement that the Homicide Department had issued an arrest warrant against the minor on January 9. But he was absconding. After getting information, the officials arrested the accused. After that investigation was done and now a criminal case has been registered against him and action is being taken. The accused is also a resident of Brampton, Ontario. Police are still investigating as to why the murder took place.
