Punjabi singer Jazzy B’s Twitter account suspended in India, know why

Famous Punjabi singer Jazzy-B’s Twitter account was suspended on Tuesday morning. Reportedly, his account has got banned only in India although it was a verified account. According to the information, the singer’s account has got banned in India due to a legal notice issued against him.

Jazzy-B who currently lives in Canada is a very active artist on social media and keeps on raising his voice against issues going on in India. The singer was an active member during the farmer’s protest in Delhi. Reportedly, he through his social media accounts made the voice of farmers reach all over the world. Jazzy-B supported the farmers throughout the protest.

Earlier also, many allegations were raised against the Central Government for taking action against the prominent personalities who have had actively participated in the farmers protest. On Monday singers Ranjit Bawa and Kanwar Grewal’s residences were raided by Income Tax Department and now singer Jazzy-B’s account has got suspended in India.

Khalsa Aid founder Ravi Singh Khalsa also shared a post regarding the raids at Kanwar Grewal and Ranjit Bawa’s house. He has directly put a blame on the Central Government. He stated that all the singers who participated and supported the farmers’ protest at Delhi have come under the scanner of Indian government who are trying their level best to put them down carrying out these raids. He wrote, “Anybody surprised? All the prominent people who supported the #FarmersProtest in Delhi have been targeted by the Indian government! Now it's @Kanwar Grewal1 & @BawaRanjit who are being targeted. Politicized law agencies! Death of democracy!”
