In the case filed in the Chandigarh district court, his song '8 Rafalan' was accused of using derogatory language for lawyers. This case was brought up by lawyer Sunil Mallan. This matter will be heard in court in Chandigarh today.

A legal notice was also sent to Mankirt Aulakh on May 15, 2021, according to lawyer Mallan. There was no adequate response to this. It has been demanded that this song should be removed from social media. With the assistance of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, this directive should be issued. In addition, any compensation received must be put in the Advocate Welfare Fund.
