Punjabi singer Manpreet Singh alias Singa has made a big allegation while going live and said that in August, a case was filed against him for promoting gun culture in police station city Kapurthala and Ajnala, for which a demand of Rs 10 lakh was made from him. Still, he didn’t disclose the names who are demanding money from him. Threats were made to take him away from the stage if the money was not paid. He has appealed to CM Bhagwant Mann for justice. At the same time, SSP Kapurthala Vatsala Gupta has said that the matter will be verified.

It is mentioned that Punjabi singer Singa's new song Still Alive was launched in the past and Bhimrao Yuva Force chief Amandeep Sahota, a resident of Mohalla Shahriyan, complained to Kapurthala City police station, saying that Singh is promoting gun culture, obscenity has been spread in the song. On the complaint, the police had registered a case against 5 people including Singer Singa under sections 294 and 120b, but no arrests have been made yet.

Singh alleged that his father has visited the police station many times but the inquiries into these cases are not being held for four months so that he can represent his side. He further said that he can no longer bear the disrespect of his family, and that is why he is going live. He added that he has all the evidence and that if anything happens to him, his e-mail is in the names of 21 people who will be directly responsible.

However, while going live, Singer Manpreet Singh kept it in suspense whether the demand for money from him was made by the police or the complainant, which is a matter of investigation. On this, SSP Vatsala Gupta said that this matter has come to his notice through the media. She will verify the matter by watching the live video. Whoever is involved in this matter will not be spared.
