Punjabi youths create ruckus in Himachal's Manikaran, ransack houses and pelt stones at locals; watch

In the latest development, a few Punjab-based youths created ruckus in the religious town Manikarna of Kullu, Himachal Pradesh. During the ruckus accused pelted stones at people, cars and also at people’s house which led to a lot of damage. The case is under investigation.

Reportedly, on Sunday few Punjabi youths displayed hooliganism in the Manikarna market of Kullu late at night. As per information, the accused entered market carrying some flags and then started beating everyone up whosoever came in their way. Later, the accused even pelted stones at people’s cars and houses. Glasses of cars and windows of houses also got damaged during the incident reported.

Post this, the accused also entered a dhaba nearby and assaulted people present there. This incident happened around 12 o'clock in the night. People of Manikarna town informed police about the same and demanded stern action against them.

Later DGP Gaurav Yadav tweeted about the incident and stated that situation at Manikaran Sahib is peaceful and people can freely without any fear visit there. He further added that Himachal Pradesh’s police along with Punjab police are working to maintain law & order in the state.
