2 Punjabi Youths forced to join Russian Army in war against Ukraine after being duped by agent

Two youths from Punjab had gone to Russia after spending Rs 11 lakh but the agent sent him to Belarus. When they were caught, they were handed over to the Russian authorities. Now the youth have been forcibly recruited into the army for the war against Ukraine. When the youth narrated their ordeal to their family members at home, their family members appealed the central and Punjab Government for help.

 

The youth who had gone to Russia were fraudulently sent to Belarus by the agent. When caught there, he was handed over to Russian authorities. Russian authorities forcibly recruited them into the army and are now attempting to force them into the ongoing war against Ukraine.

 

The families of the youth have appealed to the Central and Punjab governments to save them. Ravneet Singh, resident of Avankha village of Dinanagar, border town of the district, and Vikram Singh, resident of Jande village, had gone to Russia after spending Rs 11 lakh, but the agent fraudulently took them to Belarus.

 

Due to his Russian tourist visa, he was caught by the Belarus police and handed over to the Russian army. After this they were forcibly included in the Russian army and now are being pressured to fight the war against Ukraine. The families of both have appealed to the Central and Punjab governments to save their children.

 

Victim Ravneet Singh's sister Navdeep Kaur and mother Kulwant Kaur told that a few days ago they had received a call from their son that he had been caught in Belarus and was forcibly included in the Russian army. Now preparations are being made to send them to war in Ukraine.

 

He took a visa for Russia for 90 days, out of which a young man named Gagandeep Singh is narrating his full agony. According to him, he had left for Russia with his friends to celebrate New Year on 27 December. He had taken a 90-day visa to Russia. There an agent offered to take them to Belarus.

 

7 Youths from Punjab & Haryana in predicament:

Recently, a video went viral on X where the victims of this incident from Punjab, Haryana were narrating their woes, and asking the Government for their help. It is being told that some youths from Hoshiarpur are also stranded there. These youth have released a video and requested the Indian Government for help. In the video, all these people are seen wearing full army uniform.
