The Punjab School Education Department on 31st March 2023 released an order stating the new timings for all the government schools.
As per the orders all primary, middle, high and senior school timing will now be from 8 am to pm. This means that the school will assemble at 8 am and get off by 2 pm. These new timings will come into effect from 1st April 2023.
The order read, “primary schools will open at 8.00 am and will be closed at 2.00 pm. Similarly, Middle, High and Senior Secondary Schools will have morning assembly at 8.00 am and get off at 2.00 pm.”
