‘Decouple’ is an Indian Web
series in the Hindi language. The lead actors of the web series are R Madhavan,
Surveen Chawla. This web series has been directed by, Hardik Mehta.
It was released on the 17th of

title that explains the episode itself. The IMDb rating for the show is 8.1 out
of 10.
The web series is based upon a
couple, where a decent tone of comedy can be seen with a little mix with
politics.
The protagonist of the story Arya
is known to often land himself in trouble due to his frank speaking habits. His
wife the antagonist of the story Shruti is seen to sometimes test the patience
of Arya where he flaps out in public and embarrasses himself and Shruti.
It is also said the web series
replicates the drama that is seen in the marriages and portrays it
comically.
Actor Madhavan’s portrayal of his
role as Arya can be seen simply effortless in the way he has acted. On the
other hand, Actress Surveen has wonderfully portrayed the role of an
independent wife.
The web series doesn’t show how
the love story of the two began rather it had a different beginning of how they
were already married and years later they both would simply drift apart.
The web series also shows
economists, one as opposed to direct cash transfers by the Government into the
accounts of the poor. While calling the government scheme NREGA as his idea and
Aadhaar as a“total surveillance”.
This show also touches upon the
vast difference between the homes in Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida and compares itself
to the smaller houses in Mumbai.
In the further episodes of the
series, it can also be seen how Arya tries to get back with one of his ex and
makes a plan to visit her. But, when he finds out she is not as pretty as
earlier he stops following her.
At one point they both feel they
don’t have love in the marriage but still, they stay together for the sake of
their daughter.
